LOVE...

I absolutely LOVED having little babies at home.
I loved holding them for hours on end, I loved how they smelled right after a bath, I loved snuggling up with them & feeling their breath on my neck, watching them sleep, smile, coo, laugh, and each new milestone as they learned new things.

And then I LOVED as they got older & were in the toddler & preschool ages,
watching them learn new things, their excitement, energy, & curiosity. I loved that I could make everything better with a hug & a kiss. I loved taking them to the park & watching them play & laugh, I loved hearing all about the things they were learning in preschool, and I still loved holding them, rocking them, reading with them & snuggling with them.

And I've LOVED watching my kids as they continue to grow, mature, & experience new things. I still love hearing all about their days....the good and the bad, hearing about school field trips, activities, scout camps, funny things with friends, and anything they want to talk about. I love that we can go on family vacations & explore more things together--whether it's a museum, ancient cliff dwellings, the Grand Canyon, church history sites, or amusement parks. I love to talk & laugh with our kids & just hang out, play games, and watch "America's Funniest Home Videos". I still love reading with my kids, the chapter books that Jonah & Clay enjoy, as well as Young Adult books that PJ & Tessa like to read. And although I can no longer fix everything with just a hug & a kiss, I hope my kids always know that I'm always there for them no matter what, with a hug & a listening ear, help, support, a good laugh, a quick game of UNO, advice, or whatever they need, and that I will always love them "Forever & Ever and Always..."

I feel SO blessed to be a mom, and to have these 4 amazing kids in my life! And I have to say...now that they are older, it's also nice that they can help out around the house & yard...cooking & cleaning
......mowing the lawn
.... setting the table
... and much more. They really are great kids!
