We're buying land! YIPPEE!

Well, we decided to by the land that we've been looking at, and we are very excited! We go to sign the final contract today (after going back and forth a couple times with offers and counter-offers, we finally came to an agreement). It's a beautiful piece of property, and we've talked to lots of people about the schools out there, as well as going to check them out myself, and weighing all the pros and cons of moving out there. We feel like Neil is going to be with Wal-Mart for a very long time, and if we are going to stay put a long time, then we want some land (along with some cows and a horse, etc.) We are looking forward to it. We just hope that we can sell our current home fairly quickly, and then we can start to build a new home (we'll have to find a home to rent while we build). The kids are all very excited too, all for different reasons. Tessa is most excited about the possibility of getting a horse someday! We were looking at different types of barns that we could build, and the one we like is a little 2-stall barn. When Tessa saw it, she started jumping up and down, grinning from ear to ear, and squealed, "Does that mean I get TWO HORSES?!! Silly girl cracks us up. She just LOVES animals! :)
