Fun Weekend
Last night Neil and the boys all went to the Fathers & Sons campout with our church. They had a blast, eating treats and playing, getting dirty, and sleeping out in the tent. So while the boys were gone, Tessa and I had some "girl time". We went out to dinner and to the pet store, did manicures and pedicures, played some games and watched a video. It was a lot of fun. Then today, Tessa was in her first riding show. She did great (and looked so cute!) I posted a bunch of pictures on the slide show that I've attached to the blog. There are also some pictures of us planting our garden, me with Jonah at his preschool for the "Mother's Day Tea," one of PJ in his choir performance, where they sang songs from several different muscials, including "Hairspray", "Grease", "Wicked", etc. (They sounded great!) There is also a picture of Clay, sitting at the dinner table, with his lightning McQueen slippers, and Home Depot goggles (he wouldn't take them off for most of the evening, and was so funny about it). There are also some pictures of the kids playing in the sandbox, and with some new kittens at the place where Tessa has riding lessons. Enjoy! Neil also took the kids shopping for Mother's Day today. PJ wanted to buy me a Wii game, and Clay wanted to get me a Thomas the Tank Engine video. He was pretty upset that Neil wouldn't buy it for "me". So, we'll see what the final decision was tomorrow. :)
