Neil went to Barcelona, Spain for a big International Food Safety Convention the first week of March. He took some time a couple of the days to go do some sight-seeing. He said it was beautiful there & we hope to go back again someday together.

Right after Neil got home from Spain, we had the kids' March Break. Neil's parents flew out for a few days to visit. We had fun going to a Maple Syrup Festival (it's a huge thing around here), Niagara Falls & the Niagara Falls Butterfly Conservatory (we LOVE that place!), and to Niagara on the Lake. And then of course, we ate out, relaxed, and just enjoyed our time off!

For our Easter Break here, we get a 4-day weekend. Good Friday is a national holiday, so everything is closed & Neil was able to enjoy the time with us too! So, we decided to take advantage of our extra long weekend. We drove to Toronto to the Medieval Times dinner & tournament. It was a lot of fun & the kids had a blast. We also dyed Easter Eggs, baked cookies, enjoyed the warmer, sunny weather & played at the park, rode bikes, & just enjoyed being outside (FINALLY!) And then on Sunday the kids enjoyed some Easter treats from the Easter Bunny, we watched an Easter video from the lds website, and then headed to church. After church we had a nice Ham dinner for Easter, followed by more candy. :) (I forgot to take pictures of their Easter baskets or our Easter dinner). The kids also had Monday off so they invited a bunch of friends over for the day.

And now we are looking forward to another great weekend coming up! General Conference Weekend--hooray! We love listening to our prophet & leaders of the church, and the inspiring messages & spirit that it brings. It's one of our favorite times every spring & fall! We always make a big turkey dinner on Sunday & this Sun. we invited the missionaries to come join us for dinner too. It will be a great weekend! :)
