I could have made a song about our weekend plans....6 to a Christmas party, 5 raking leaves, 4 eye appointments, 3 music lessons, 2 busy parents, 1 tooth extraction...and a partridge in a pear tree! :) Hahahaha!
In addition to all that, we also had a friend's child's baptism, PJ's guitar recital, my YW lesson, and a First Presidency Christmas Devotional too (but it didn't all fit into my song.) :) Whew!
We were planning to help a neighbor rake some leaves this weekend, but the kids ended up doing it on Thursday, and it's a good thing, because it ended up snowing quite a lot on Friday. So, on Saturday morning, we ended up shoveling 4 driveways instead (ours & 3 neighbors). Jonah's tooth extraction was quick & mostly painless (not much slows him down). He had an adult tooth coming in behind the baby tooth, so they pulled the baby tooth to hopefully make room for the big tooth. Music lessons were great as usual & I love hearing the kids all playing Christmas songs. PJ's guitar recital went well (he sang "Hallelujah" while playing it on his guitar & sounded great). The eye appointments have Preston getting glasses (they'll be here in a week), Tessa most likely getting glasses very soon, Clay possibly needing them in the next year or two, and Jonah's eyes perfect. Our ward Christmas party was great--good food, beautiful music, lots of fun, and a great Santa! And tonight we'll snuggle in to watch the First Presidency Christmas Devotional at home in our jammies. A good weekend, but hopefully next week is a little less hectic. :)
