Ready for summer!!! :)

We are SO ready for summer! Our kids have school until June 28th, so they still have a little while to go, but until then we are enjoying the warm, sunny weather after school & on the weekends. We are looking forward to a fun-filled summer with scout camp, girls camp, youth conference, a sport camp for Jonah & Clay one week, a few art classes (acrylic painting & pottery), guitar lessons for PJ, clarinet for Tessa, & piano for Jonah, swimming with the family & friends, playing at the park & LOTS of fun!!!

We are also flying to Utah for a few days for the new Brigham City, Utah Temple open house. Neil's dad got called as the new Temple President, and his mom the Temple Matron. So not only will we have the opportunity to let our kids see inside the temple and for all of us to get a full tour (which is a pretty neat experience in and of itself), but we'll get to have a private tour with Grandma & Grandpa Checketts. This opportunity to be able to get a private tour of the new temple, with Grandma & Grandpa, in the town where Neil grew up, & for the kids to be able to experience such a special, sacred thing will be wonderful! :)
Then, to finish off our summer with a big bang, we'll be heading down to Florida for 2 weeks, to go to Disneyworld, Epcot Center, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios, as well as visiting the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, enjoying the beach, and Gatorland USA. :) We can't wait!!! We are renting a home about 5 minutes from the parks, with a private pool, which will be heavenly! And the funny thing is, it is actually less expensive than staying at a hotel (in addition to giving us a LOT more space).
Our summer will be very, very busy, but SO much fun! And then just 2 days after we get back from our trip to Florida, school starts back up again. Whew!
