Yesterday we went to Niagara Falls. It's only about an hour drive from our home. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The pictures don't do it justice. When you are right by the falls, it feels like it's raining lightly the whole time, because of the constant mist. A lot of the pictures that are close to the edge didn't really turn out very well, because it was so white & misty, and we all got quite wet too. :)
We had fun walking around the beautiful walkways, enjoying the scenery & all the beautiful trees & flowers there too. We had lunch & checked out the gift shops, and then headed home. There are several other fun things to do in that area as well (Bird Kingdom--the world's largest indoor aviary, MarineLand--an amusement park like SeaWorld, museums, shopping, mini-golf, go carts, and more). We'll have to check out some of those other things another time.
We had a great day relaxing & having fun with our family! :)
