Wow! Our baby is 5 years old! We can't believe it! Clay is such a sweet little guy and we are so grateful to have him in our family!! He loves to play outside in the sandbox, swing on the swingset, play at the park, draw, read, play with trains, cars, trucks, balls, etc. He is a very smart little guy and is excited to start kindergarten in the fall. He is our little snuggler and still loves to snuggle on our lap, and in our arms. We love it too! We'll be sad when he gets too big for that!
This year he got to have a friend birthday party on Friday (we only do it for our kids when they are 5, 8, 12, and 16). He wanted to go to McDonald's to the playland for his friend party. He had a great time & invited some friends from church and preschool. They played at the playland, had happy meals, cake, & ice cream, opened presents, and played some more. It was a lot of fun!
Then today, on his actual birthday, we had a family party. I always decorate with balloons & streamers, we have cake & open presents, and then the birthday child gets to choose where they want to go for dinner (or lunch). We've had a great day, playing outside, going to lunch, playing in the pool, opening presents, playing with new birthday toys, going to the park, etc. So....HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. CLAY, WE LOVE YOU!!! :)
