Thursday night, we decided to take a last-minute family getaway. We REALLY needed some fun & relaxation! So, I called the schools & emailed their teachers to excuse them from school on Friday. We got everything ready & packed, made our reservations, and then left at 7:30 a.m. on Friday morning. The kids were SO excited! Branson, Missouri is only a couple hours away from us, so we were there by about 9:30, just in time for Silver Dollar City to open. We spent 2 days there, having a great time. We had a blast! We rode lots of rides (and got soaked on a couple of them), watched a Chinese Acrobat show, went miniature golfing, played at a huge indoor water park that was part of our hotel, and just had a great time being together!
