HAPPY BIRTHDAY JONAH!!

Tomorrow (Nov. 15th) our sweet little Jonah turns 6 years old! He is growing up so fast and is such a good little boy. He has such a happy, bright, energetic, and friendly personality. He has a smile that just lights up the room, a contagious laugh, and eyes that sparkle. He is everyone’s friend (including half of the door greeters and checkers at Wal-Mart), and is so kind and thoughtful. He loves to play outside in the dirt and sand, and run around, getting as dirty and sweaty as possible, and he LOVES to ride his bike. He learned how to ride without training wheels just a couple weeks before school started, and every time he rides, he is smiling the entire time. He had a blast playing soccer this fall, and also enjoys swimming. He is a smart little kid and loves to learn new things and is having a great time in kindergarten this year. He is such a joy and I’m so grateful to have him in our lives. Happy Birthday Mr. Jonah! WE LOVE YOU!!

As a side note...today (his birthday), when he woke up (at 5 a.m., because he's so excited), he wrote on his magna doodle "I AM SIX", then said, "I can't believe I'm almost 7!" I said, "You aren't almost 7, you are just turning 6 today--you still have a whole year before you're 7." He said, "Well...almost." Then when he was eating his breakfast, he said he wanted to cut his pancakes himself, because he was almost 8. I said he wasn't almost 8, he was just turning 6 today. He said, "Well, 6 then 7 then 8, so almost!" And the poor kid keeps looking at all his presents on the kitchen counter, asking when he can open them, saying that it's taking FOREVER!! It's pure torture for him. :)
