Family Fun...

Well, we've been having a really fun summer so far. We've been swimming with the kids, taken them miniature golfing, and to the family arcade, playing in the sprinklers, and having popsicles, and just relaxing and enjoying our time off. PJ, Tessa, & Jonah are all in tennis & swimming lessons, and Tessa is still having a blast with her riding lessons. The boys love going to watch her, so they can play with all the cats & dogs around the farm, as well as finding bugs, and little frogs to play with (there is a picture in the slide show of Jonah holding a little frog that is about the size of a penny). They keep asking if we can bring them home. I keep telling them no. They've also loved watching our garden grow (they helped plant it and water it), and are always so excited when we have more veggies to pick and eat. We have tomatoes, green beans, peas, zucchini, spinach, carrots, green peppers, and a cucumber plant. I'm always amazed each year how well our garden does and how fast it grows. This heat and humidity does wonders for a garden (and we've had a lot of rain too), and everything is so green around here--we love that. PJ & Tessa are both still doing piano, and are doing great. They had a recital a couple of weeks ago, but I can't seem to figure out how to post a video again (I posted one when I first set up this blog, but can't get it to work again--o-well).

We are really excited for our trip to Utah in just a couple of weeks. We'll be heading to Bear Lake for a week, with all of Neil's family to play in the sand and sun, and play on grandpa's boat and waterski, as well as visiting my family in Logan, and getting together in Salt Lake with my family from California. It will be a lot of fun. We love summer!
