Merry Christmas... or Happy Spring Break?! I get confused here in Canada! This past Wednesday, we had over a foot of snow dump on us here, and we shoveled 3 times that day! We were just starting to see some of the huge snow piles start to melt, but after our nice little snow storm, they were back up to over 5 feet high! Nooooo!!! Neil also had to fly home from a business trip that night, and I was worried that his flight would be cancelled. Thank goodness he got home okay, around 1 a.m. (despite the horrible roads, and lots of accidents).
So... for our Spring Break, we didn't get to enjoy picnics at the park, or going to the zoo, or playing outside (other than freezing our fannies off while we shoveled over & over again!) But we did have Grandma & Grandpa Checketts visit for a few days. We had fun with them, relaxing, watching movies, doing puzzles, playing games, and even making gingerbread cookies (we figured if it looked like Christmas outside, we'd make it taste like Christmas inside!) :)
