Well...so much for that plan...

Our realtor called yesterday to tell us that the people who were going to buy our house had a problem with their financing (they didn't disclose that they had co-signed on a couple of car loans for their kids, and so they no longer qualify for the loan). So....the contract is now cancelled. :(

The good news is that our realtor never put up a sign that our house was under contract, and has continued showing the house (she always does that, just in case something happens & it falls through). So, in the past 10 days that our house has been under contract, we've had 8 more showings, 2 of which have gone back twice. The one family is going to be making a decision this week, and our home is in the top two, so we just keep hoping & praying that we'll get another offer. And hopefully we'll get an even better offer, and be able to close sooner. We'll just be SO glad to be done with this headache!
