So, we are STILL having winter here...we got 20 inches of snow in 1 day! People who have lived here forever have been saying that they've never seen this much snow here! It started Wednesday morning at about 3 a.m., and continued until that night. Neil tried to get in to work on Wed. morning, but got stuck in our driveway, so his boss came & picked him up (he drives a big Hummer). Then they came home early, at about 2 p.m. Neil played in the snow with the kids for a while. I prefer staying inside where it's nice & warm, so I am the official hot cocoa maker. :) We just hung out by the fire, played games, watched a movie, worked on another puzzle, etc.
Thursday morning, Neil tried to go into work again...and got stuck AGAIN! It took about 45 minutes before we finally got him out, and he was able to make it to work.
With all the snow we've had over the past few weeks, we are now up to 10 snow days that the kids will have to make up at the end of the year! They will be in school until mid-June! YUCK!!!
Anyway, here are some pictures of our lovely snowstorm. Hopefully this is the last of it & we can move on to spring now! We are DONE with winter!!!
