Jonah plays basketball on a Christian-based league, called Upward. It is a GREAT program. It's hosted at different churches in the area. The summer basketball camp was at a baptist church & the games for this season are played at a Nazarene church. During each game, at half-time, they play a video that is always so inspiring (and usually makes me cry). I attached the link from the one yesterday. Incredible story, incredible little boy, and incredible parents that have taught him to never give up. WOW! (And it's funny that the music from the video is actually by Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband, a Mormon group from Utah). I hope that our kids can always remember to dream big, follow those dreams, and never give up, and when life gets hard, to pray & have faith that everything will be okay...
